An additional few harm reduction tips: 1. while some tabs are weak, some are "double-dipped", so this is another good reason to sample your stuff with a low dose as recommended above; and 2. if it's bitter, it's a spitter (if your tab is bitter on the tongue it probably isn't acid).

My first acid trip was in New Orleans too at night and my friend gave a street performer (saxophonist) a dollar to play As time goes by, knowing it’s one of my favorite songs. It was after 1am in the French Quarter and was probably one of the most magical memories I have from college.
